Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources within our organization. The HR Manager will play a critical role in fostering a positive and productive work environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving employee engagement and development. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a passion for people, and a commitment to creating a thriving workplace.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Employee Engagement & Wellness: Design and implement programs to enhance morale, satisfaction, and well-being.
  • Manage Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor, resolve conflicts, and foster open communication.
  • Ensure Policies & Compliance: Develop, update, and enforce policies; ensure legal compliance with Philippine labor laws.
  • Oversee Performance Management: Implement evaluation systems and support managers in performance management processes.
  • Champion Company Culture: Act as a strategic partner to promote a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace.
  • Develop Employee Retention Strategies: Proactively address employee needs to improve retention rates and reduce turnover.
  • Manage Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the hiring process, from sourcing to onboarding, to attract and integrate top talent.
  • Administer Compensation & Benefits: Manage employee pay, benefits programs, and leave administration.
  • Facilitate Training & Development: Identify needs and provide programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Oversee HR Administration: Maintain employee records, manage HR systems, and generate HR reports.

 

Job Duties

  • Employee Engagement and Wellness – Design and implement programs to boost employee morale and satisfaction. Organize wellness initiatives, such as health campaigns and mental health support.
  • Foster a culture of recognition by creating rewards and acknowledgment programs.
  • Employee Relations – Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management for workplace concerns. Resolve conflicts effectively while maintaining a fair and inclusive approach. Promote open communication channels to strengthen trust and transparency.
  • Policies and Compliance – Develop, update, and enforce company policies in line with Philippine labor laws. Ensure adherence to legal requirements and conduct regular audits for compliance. Provide training on workplace ethics, anti-discrimination, and compliance topics.
  • Performance Management – Implement performance evaluation systems, ensuring fairness and clarity. Support managers in addressing performance issues and identifying areas for improvement. Align performance goals with business objectives and individual development plans.
  • Business Partner for Promoting Company Culture-  Act as a strategic partner to leadership in fostering a positive workplace culture. Organize team-building activities and events to strengthen collaboration and unity. Advocate for diversity, inclusivity, and values that reflect the company’s mission.
  • Employee Retention – Develop retention strategies by addressing employee needs and concerns proactively. Conduct stay interviews to identify areas of improvement in the employee experience. Monitor turnover trends and recommend initiatives to improve retention rates.

 

Qualifications for HR Manager

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of [Number, e.g., 5] years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • [Number, e.g., 2]+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified HR Professional).
